Meet Sheila! A vibrant approximately one-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix from Princeton, TX, whose lively spirit is matched only by her heart full of love and her stunning tricolor coat. At 47 pounds, Sheila is a perfect medium-sized bundle of joy, always ready for her next adventure—whether it's a brisk walk, a backyard zoomie session, or playtime with her favorite squeaky toys and chewy bones! Sheila is smart as a whip and always eager to please, especially when treats are involved! She’s already mastered "sit," "stay," "no," and "outside," and she’s learning how to heel on her walks. Speaking of walks, Sheila absolutely adores them, though her enthusiasm might have her trying to lead the way! A family who enjoys daily walks or has a secure fenced yard where she can run and play would be an excellent match for her energy. She’s a sweetheart with other dogs, greeting every pup she meets with a wagging tail and playful energy. Cats, on the other hand, remain a mystery since she hasn’t had much interaction with them. At home, Sheila is crate-trained and house-trained (she learned quickly—what a smart girl!), but she’ll need to stay crated when left alone since her curious nature sometimes leads her to chew on things she shouldn’t. Sheila’s endearing personality shines through in everything she does, from her goofy facial expressions to the sweet kisses she loves to give. She’s a big fan of gazing out the window, keeping tabs on the neighborhood between play sessions. However, rainy or snowy days? Not her favorite—she prefers her potty breaks under sunnier skies. Sheila is looking for a new loving home where her new pet parent(s) can give her the care, playtime, and attention she thrives on.
