To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application        HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see        HERE Age: 10 months (as of 04/10/23) Weight: 12 lbs (as of 04/29/23) Location: RI    This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Freya is one playful little girl! She loves running, going for walks, playing with toys and her doggie friends...and hanging out with you! We're thinking she is a very beautiful blend of Corgi and Miniature Dachshund. She is crate trained, rides calmly in the car while tethered or crated, and is working diligently on house training – she does great with a doggie door! She's happy to be around other dogs once she's had a respectful introduction (a game of chase, anyone?), and while she is initially interested in cats, she quickly loses interest. Freya is playful with and comfortable being around all adults and school age children - she sleeps with the kids on their bed! Freya is really excited about the prospect of going to puppy training classes with her new human(s)! Oh, what fun learning all that new stuff! A fenced yard would be ideal so she could run and play safely, but if that's not an option then daily leash walks for exercise, business and fun will keep her healthy and happy! While Freya's not a wild and crazy girl, she's no couch potato - she is always up for an adventure and exploring new places, playing games, or just running the yard. If you are looking for a buddy to keep you entertained and laughing, Freya is your girl! Fill out an application today and her people will be in touch! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see      HERE      for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:    www.sosarl.org/aa/   *  *Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
