To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: 2 months (as of 2/26/2025) Weight: 14.6-19 lbs (as of 2/24/2025) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Introducing the Cereal Litter – five adorable girls, Honeycomb, Pebbles, Chex, Cheerio, and Cocoa Puff; and two handsome little dudes, Apple Jack and Lucky Charm! These puppies were born on Christmas Day and are believed to be a Bassett Hound mix. This aisle of cereals comes from an active foster home where they been living (since birth) with three adults, 4 other dogs, and their Momma Marigold Cereal. Honeycomb is an affectionate cutie who is sweet, intelligent and even-tempered. She loves playing with the other pups in her litter and enjoys a chew toys and squeaky toys. She loves running around, playing bitey-mouth, and chase with her siblings. She’s also down to chill with some naps and cuddles with her people! You can watch a movie or just watch her run in her dreams. Puppies are a lot of work and require a strong commitment to teaching them obedience, socializing with other dogs and people, playing with them and loving them to pieces. Being so young, Honeycomb would love to find a family who has the time and patience to raise a puppy; she has so much to learn! She'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs - and especially puppies - attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and it also helps to strengthen that ever-important bond between the dog and his human family. It’s lots of fun, too! If you're ready to make that awesome commitment to bring up Honeycomb, then fill out an application today! Wet puppy kisses and warm, furry snuggles are awaiting! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org) **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
