Meet Aleigha Emerson

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper intros Good with cats: Unknown, likely yesGood with kids: YesCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: YesAleigha is a sweet, snuggly and curious girl who is looking for a loving family to call her own. She is a lower to medium energy dog, who enjoys a short play session, followed by a nice long nap (preferably on the couch with her humans). She absolutely adores people, and will wiggle her way right into your heart. Aleigha is fostered in a multi-dog household and has done well with other dogs after proper introductions. Though she has not met cats, with her laid back demeanor she would likely ignore them. She has met school age children and loved getting all the cuddles and pets from them, she would make a wonderful family dog. Aleigha is a smart girl, and very eager to please. She is fully crate trained and sleeps soundly in her crate all night and is crated throughout the work day when her foster is in the office. She happily and quietly entertains herself with as frozen treat, before falling asleep until her family comes home. Aleigha is fully house trained and is learning to cue when she needs to go potty. Walking on leash is new to Aleigha, but she has made amazing progress and looks to her humans and doggy siblings for reassurance on her walks.  She will make a wonderful addition to any family who is ready to welcome a puppy to shower with all of the love and affection. Is this sweet snuggly girl the one for you? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.lasthopek9.org.
