Meet Mason Marzipan *LOCAL*

To apply to adopt this dog now and/or meet in a private meeting on November 4th or sooner, complete our adoption application HERE If not adopted beforehand, this dog will be available for a private meeting with approved adopters on November 4th, and then attend the Super Dog Adoption Event on November 4th at Clark Farms Matunuck, RI.  Learn more about this event and sign up for 10am Early Entry HERE     Age: 5 months (as of 10/13/23) Weight: 21.8 pounds (as of 9/5/23) Location: RI   This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. If you’re in the mood for a little something sweet, how about one of these adorable Marzipan pups? Mason is a neutered male. These two cuties were found abandoned in a public park. A good Samaritan picked them up and got them into rescue. They are playful and get along with their foster parents, visiting grandchildren, and the dogs and cats they share the home with. They are interested in new dogs and small animals but can be redirected from the latter easily. They are also responsive to corrections and should be easy to train because they just want to please their human and animal buddies! Their favorite things include toys (especially ones that squeak), lap time, cuddling, playing bitey mouth and chase, and wrestling. They will need one to two hours of activity each day but are also happy to chill. Housetraining is in progress, but he is doing well in his crate without accidents. You can work on leash training when you attend obedience classes with them. We strongly encourage these classes because a dog who listens to you is safer in the world and much easier to be with! Training is also a great way to bond with your new pup. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see  HERE  for more information about this. To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see             HERE   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
