To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: 2 - 4 years (as of 02/29/24) Weight: 28.4 lbs (as of 03/14/24) Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Hank, a young soul with an infectious zest for life. We are thinking handsome Hank is a Rat Terrier and Whippet mix. His sweet nature makes him a joy to be around. With a friendly demeanor, he greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and a playful spirit. He does play with other dogs but truly could care less if they are there. He mainly wants your hugs and cuddles. Gentle to the core, Hank loves a good cuddle session and is always up for playing in the yard with you! His intelligence shines through in his quick learning and problem-solving skills. Smart Hank is house trained, crate trained, and walks great on the leash. Hank is not just a pet, he's a companion, a playmate, and a friend. His love knows no bounds, and his loyalty is unwavering. Adopting Hank means welcoming a bundle of joy, love, and warmth into your life. He deserves a forever home where he can continue to spread his joy and love. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: www.sosarl.org/aa/ * *Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
