This lower-energy girl enjoys a good walk or round of fetch, but her highest priority is making sure that her humans know they are loved. Winter would thrive in almost any home.Winter has lived with other dogs and does well with them, though she is more interested in what her people are up to. She has lived with children and teenagers and been a wonderful companion to them. Winter loves to meet new people, approaching them with a wagging tail to say hello. This gal will happily play with toys by herself, and she’ll be even happier if someone invites her to sit on their lap.Winter is a clever girl who already knows “sit” and would likely pick up other commands quickly. She is fully house trained and has been making great progress with her crate training, which will improve with time, consistency, and patience in her new home. Winter has excellent furniture manners and respects boundaries set around beds and couches, though she’s thrilled to warm either if she is invited. She is good on her leash and loves exploring the neighborhood on walks.Winter is a little lady with a giant heart. Are you ready to make her part of your family? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line.
