Meet BARRY

MEET BARRY! - I am in foster, please contact the Dedham shelter to learn more!*I need to go home to a confident, social dog!*Barry is an adorable mixed breed puppy who weighs about 20lbs but is not done growing. We do not have much information on his life prior to coming to us and are not sure on his exact breed mix. He does not appear to have had much experience with people and things outside of her home, so he is on the fearful side - once he has had time to warm up to new people he shows off just how smart he is, and already knows how to sit and is potty trained! . It will be extremely important for his new family to continue his socialization and work on positive reinforcement training to help his build confidence and learn all of his basics. We are looking to send him home to a tolerant, confident dog in the home that can help to show him the ropes, though it may take him some time to get comfortable with his canine sibling. We think it would be best for him to go to a lower traffic home with teens and adults only.Barry is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Bree or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
