He gives the absolute BEST hugs and rolls over for belly rubs. He will rest quietly when left alone, but will try to get all of your attention when you first come in. He is very excitable at first, but settles after a few minutes of intense hugging and begging for pets. He loves to go on walks and rarely barks when on a leash. He loves squeaky toys and to play fetch. Beebe plays well with other dogs, especially those of his own size. He does best when introduced to new dogs one or two at a time, so he is not overwhelmed. He has been around dog savvy cats and children over eight, and has been fine with them.Beebe is mostly crate trained, but if his humans are nearby, he would much rather be with them. He is house trained with a doggy door so may need to adjust to a home without one. Beebe is so excited to see one of his humans that he will jump to greet, however, he wraps his front paws around you for a hug and does not continuously jump. His foster has been working with him on this.Beebe did growl at first when the other dogs in the house approached his food bowl. This stopped once he realized they were not going to be allowed to steal his food, but he should be fed separately to avoid issues. He loves a good long walk, but does pull a bit at the start.Beebe has had a rough start to life and just wants to be loved on by his humans. He enjoys going for a car ride, but needs to be on a short leash, since he tries everything in his power to sit on your lap. Beebe simply loves time with his humans, doing whatever they want to do!Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted.
