To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: 10-12 months Weight: 15 pounds This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Amelia Earhart is an adorable, sweet pup who is even tempered and eager to please. Amelia loves toys and playing fetch just as much as walks, playgroups and hiking. She also loves lap time and cuddling! Amelia's house training is in progress, as we as her crate training but she already does great crated in a car and absolutely loves meeting new people and going new places. She is great with men, women and children alike, and is good with new dogs. Amelia can be a bit hyper around cats and small animals, but she is able to be redirected. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and it also helps to strengthen that ever important bond between the dog and her human family. It’s lots of fun, too! A well -mannered, obedient dog will be welcomed most anywhere you take her. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. If Amelia seems like the perfect fit for your household, fill out an adoption application on our website: www.sosarl.org/aa/ * *Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
