Meet Quinn, a charming 32-pound adult dog who is ready to find his forever home! Originally from a rural shelter in Texas, Quinn has quickly proven himself to be a wonderful companion. This laid-back pup loves nothing more than relaxing and taking life at his own pace. He’s an expert in the art of chilling and would make a fantastic addition to a home looking for a calm and easygoing furry friend. Quinn is a social butterfly with other dogs, getting along beautifully with his canine companions. He’s also cat-friendly—but only with dog-savvy cats who are comfortable around dogs. Cats without dog experience might find Quinn’s presence overwhelming, so a home with confident, dog-friendly felines is a must if you have cats. Despite his humble beginnings, Quinn has impeccable manners. He’s housebroken, knows how to sit on command, and has proven he’s trustworthy when left alone. He doesn’t need a crate and isn’t destructive, making him an easy dog to have in the house. All breeds listed are educated best estimates by transferring shelter staff, our volunteers or our vets. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA.
