Romeo is a cute little who is looking for a special home. He came to us with some medical needs including itchy skin and chronic dry eye. Romeo has been on medication for his skin and has been feeling better, but he is not a fan of getting his ointment and is not afraid to tell you to back off. Romeo is small but mighty and his family will need to work with our behavior team to help him feel more comfortable receving his eye meds so that he can live a happier and healthier life. Romeo takes a little time to warm up, but he would make a good supervisor for someone working from home and enjoys getting pet by his favorite people. Romeo enjoys going for walks and has made lots of dog friends since he's been with us so we think he could live with a low key dog friend. Romeo is looking for a family who has patience and can develop a good relationship with a Fear Free vet!If you think this dog could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm â no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog thatâs a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new dog or puppy the most successful it can be, please visit www.mspca.org/petresources. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) theyâre interested in - and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
