Meet Tanya
Give a warm welcome to this sweet and friendly gal, Tanya. Tanya is a hound mix and is around the age of 4 and a half years old. She is a medium sized dog weighing 45 pounds. Tanya adores people and loves being around them. She is sweet as can be. Tanya came into rescue already pregnant and gave birth to an adorable litter of puppies. She was a good mom and did her duty to them until they were fully weaned. With her motherly duties over, Tanya seeks a home and family to call her own. We will put her on road to make that happen. If you are looking for a girl that will be a wonderful companion with a friendly nature, Tanya is your girl. She is great with other dogs, children and even cats. Her medium energy level will match well with a fairly active family. She will enjoy a mix of fun activities, regular walks, socialization and some down time. Tanya enjoys her playtime, and she really enjoys the company of other dogs as well. She is more than ready to begin the next chapter of her life. With great expectations, Tanya focuses on learning her skill set. She has learned her house training and crate training. Some more work needs to be done with her leash walking skills, but she is very close to achieving success. Regular walks will put her on the path of more practice, and she knows practice makes perfect. It is important to remember that although Tanya is housetrained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. She is a great gal and is sure to make an awesome canine companion. Tanya promises to give all the love she has to her family. She will be eternally grateful to become a member of her forever family. If you hear opportunity knocking, respond quickly to meet your next canine family member.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Tanya is $500.
