Meet Lacey

Meet Lacey! A spirited five-year-old Labrador Retriever and Basset Hound mix from Walpole, MA, whose unique combination of a sturdy, low-to-the-ground body and an expressive Labrador face makes her an unforgettable character. Lacey's striking black coat, adorned with a charming white blaze on her neck and chest, complements her bright, inquisitive eyes that are always on the lookout for fun and adventure! Lacey is the epitome of sweet and sassy, a pup who has mastered the balance between playful exuberance and tender affection. Her little legs and big heart make her a standout, capturing the attention and adoration of everyone she meets. Lacey’s journey has been a challenging one, but her resilient spirit has allowed her to blossom into a loyal, lovable, and wonderfully quirky companion! This delightful dog is a bundle of playful energy! She adores playing keep-away with her squeaky toys and can turn even the simplest game into an epic adventure. Lacey is also a fan of car rides and exploring new places, her tail wagging with excitement at the prospect of a new discovery! Yet, for all her spirited energy, Lacey cherishes quiet moments too. She loves nothing more than curling up on the couch with her favorite person, ready to enjoy a cozy movie night filled with snuggles. Lacey is a gem in every sense, but she does need a special kind of home. While she’s been making great strides in her behavior and training, she still requires a patient, understanding pet parent who is well-versed in dog behavior. Lacey thrives in an environment where she can be the center of attention, without the distractions of other pets or children. She’s selective about her doggy friends and has a strong prey drive, so a home without cats or small animals is a must. Lacey has a sensitive side, both in terms of her stomach and her emotions. She can get anxious around strangers, loud noises, and other animals, but with a calm, stable environment, she’s learning to navigate these challenges. She’s house-trained, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations, ready to bring joy to her new home. Are you the loving companion Lacey has been waiting for? She’s ready to be your loyal sidekick, bringing a mix of fun, love, and a bit of sass into your life! Could you be the one to help Lacey continue her journey? She’s eager to meet you and start this new chapter together!  If you think you and Lacey are a perfect match, reach out to [email protected] and let’s make this sweet girl’s dreams come true!
