S.A.D. is an all-volunteer 501c3 nonprofit organization located in Starke County, Indiana. We are a private rescue and do not receive funds from the County. We are a foster-based rescue with a mission to serve the homeless dogs by fostering and supporting healthy, positive relationships between people and companion animals. S.A.D. rehomes companion pets into safe, healthy, lifelong homes; serves as an educational and counseling resource; and works to reduce pet overpopulation. We do it because every dog deserves a home

Meet Axel

 Axle was found as a stray puppy. He is approx  4-6 months old. His owner could not be found. He is a friendly and beautiful puppy. He is currently with the family that took him in however he can not stay there for long. We are assisting in his adoptionAxle will not be neutered before adoption. Our vet will not alter large breed puppies before the age of 8-9 months old. So a neuter agreement will be signed by the adopter and the cost  will be the adopters responsiblilty.  Axle is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. A fenced in yard is required for this puppy ,  no children under the age of 8 in the household, and someone that is home more and has the time to care for a puppy. Axel is located in Northwest Indiana
