Meet Bloom - Located in NM
Young Bloom (known as "Aspen" to her best friends), is a friendly, happy pup who loves being outdoors, hiking or walking and going on adventures with her foster mom and siblings. She adores being with her doggy companions and being part of a pack. When back home she has a great off switch, and is ready to cuddle and relax with her people. When Bloom first came into MAD she was withdrawn and nervous about new experiences. Sometimes she is less sure about getting out of the car when in busy places, but she has really come out of her shell now and is gaining confidence being in places with more people around. Bloom is now very good riding in the car, having learned from her foster that car trips are a good thing and lead to new adventures! Bloom has been receiving obedience training and even off leash training. She is now having adventures out in the wide open - and her recall is now fantastic. She is learning how to through 20' long culverts an having a blast doing it! She is so proud of herself when she learns new things! Medium/low on the energy scale, she needs regular exercise and training. Lot's of cold winter months where you live? Bloom has been trained to walk on a treadmill! As her confidence grows, so does her engagement and love for learning even more. She can be a bit of a "teenager," occasionally testing a boundary or two, but she is so good natured and smart that she is easily redirected. Eager to please with a loving nature, Boom may be your perfect companion and adventure girl!To apply to adopt, please fill out the application by clicking on the Adopt button or ask for her to be added to your existing application.***********************************************We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location.
