Meet Spot! Spot is a 17-pound poodle mix that came to us very matted and dirty so had to be completely shaved down. He has adjusted very well to his foster home. His foster mom says: "Spot is a very good boy! He likes to ride in the car and look out the window. He walks on a leash and potties outside. He sleeps overnight in a crate in the bedroom with no complaint. He's good with my large dog. He likes to cuddle with people on the couch. He knows 'sit' and 'shake', and loves to play with his ball and can catch it in his mouth when it's tossed. Spot weighs 17 pounds and has beautiful white markings when his hair is longer. He'd make a perfect family do. He was timid at first, but took just two days to relax." Spot is already neutered, UTD on vaccines, and will be microchipped before going to adoption. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
