Meet BOONE

Boone's story began with a tough start. He was found tied to a fire hydrant, but despite his rough beginnings, Boone has shown incredible resilience and a loving personality. Boone is an exceptionally friendly dog. He adores human company and thrives on affection. He's quick to greet everyone with a wagging tail and a big, slobbery kiss. Boone has a gentle demeanor and enjoys being around people. This clever pup already knows some basic commands like `sit` and `shake.` He is eager to learn and responds well to positive reinforcement. Boone would thrive in a home where continued training and mental stimulation are provided. Boone is a social butterfly! He plays very well with other dogs and loves having doggy friends to romp and wrestle with. However, due to his strong prey drive, Boone is not suited to live with cats. Boone would do best in a home with adults or families with older children who understand how to interact respectfully with a large dog. While Boone is friendly, his size and exuberance may be overwhelming for very small children, so supervision is recommended. Boone is looking for a loving family who will cherish him as a loyal companion. A home with a fenced yard where he can play and burn off energy would be ideal. Boone thrives on human interaction and would love to be included in family activities and outings. Boone is in good health and is up-to-date on vaccinations. If you're searching for a big-hearted, affectionate companion who will fill your home with love and laughter, Boone could be the perfect match for you! Come meet Boone today and see for yourself what a wonderful addition he could be to your family. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. **BISSELL EMPTY THE SHELTERS ADOPTION EVENT TAKES PLACE FROM 7/8 - 7/31.
