Meet Bella
Bella is a super sweet 6-year-old girl looking for her person. Tyson's Place Animal Rescue's mission is to assist terminally ill people with finding new families for their pets, and she came to us after her owner could no longer care for her. She would love to cuddle next to you on the couch, sleep on your bed, and be pet lots and lots. She needs an owner dedicated to keeping her active and slim - she currently enjoys two walks a day and eats a carefully measured amount of food with no human food. Given her breed, it's especially important that she has an adopter who is committed to a healthy lifestyle for her so she can live a long, healthy life. The vet recommended with her long body and short legs that she not tackle stairs, although she can go up and down them ok. She is fixed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and completely healthy. She walks well on a leash and is completely housebroken. She is good with kids who are respectful and don't pet or mess with her face. She has been around other dogs but would prefer to be the only dog where she gets all the attention from her human. She is a good guard dog and will alert you to strangers walking past your house but warms up well to visitors. If you have her approval, she will lick your hands and feet in affection. If she sounds like she could be a good match for you, please email me at [email protected] or fill out an adoption application available at tysonsplacerescue.org
Adoption Process
We have an adoption application, which is reviewed by a committee, we then do a visit with the animal, and if everything goes well, an adoption contact is signed. Depending on the medical needs of the animals, the adoption fee ranges from waived to $175.
