Meet Prancer - BD

Meet Prancer! Hi, I’m Prancer, and my name fits me perfectly—I love to prance around with my foster siblings (both human and canine)! I was born in December, which makes sense because I’m part of Santa’s Reindeer Litter. I’m expected to be a large breed dog since my mom is primarily Pit Bull and Pointer, but my dad is unknown. Even so, I’m one of the smaller pups in my litter! I have the best mix of playful energy and snuggly sweetness. I love romping around outside, going on walks (so many smells!), and then curling up for a cozy nap. I like to take in all the exciting sights around me on walks—kids on bikes, birds in the sky, you name it! I’m doing great with potty training (I get treats every time I go outside—best part of the day!) and learning to walk on a leash. While I currently live with both a large breed male and female, whom I love, my foster mom says that in general, she prefers forever homes with opposite-gender dog pairings since they tend to do best. But if you’ve got a submissive female, that would totally work too! I don't live with a cat right now, but I've met several and am just curious about them. They don't let me get too close though. I just want to be friends! Of course, I’d also be happy soaking up all the attention as the only pet. I enjoy belly rubs, don’t mind having my ears and feet touched, and ride fine in the car (though I’d prefer to sit in your lap). I love my humans, but I also like to follow the big dogs in my foster home if given the choice. Wherever they go, I go. Unless I'm snuggled up with my foster mom and napping of course. I’ve had the best time in my foster home, but I’m ready for my forever family! Could that be you? Apply today, I can't wait to meet you!
