Hi, I'm Vixen! I'm a sweet and sassy medium-energy pup on the search for my forever home. I may have been the runt of my litter, but I make up for it with personality and love! My mom is a mix of Pit Bull and Pointer, and while my dad is a mystery, I’ll likely be a large breed when I’m all grown up. Even though my siblings are bigger, I’ve stayed petite—and I don’t let that slow me down! I’m a little mischief-maker who loves carrying sticks twice my size, chasing the white tip on the end of my tail, and sneaking off with shoes and stuffed animals for a game of chase! But when playtime is over, I’m happiest curled up in your lap, soaking up all the love. I’m not very mouthy, and do well with the small hoomans in my house. They’re super fun! I’m already crate trained, I know how to sit, and I’m doing great with potty training as long as I’m taken out regularly. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, so I’ll need a patient adopter to help me build confidence and continue socializing. I currently live with one small male dog, one extra-large male dog, and one spicy large female dog. I love all of them, but they seem to get annoyed with me. It’s not my fault they’re old and grumpy—I just want to cuddle! My foster mom says opposite-gender adult dogs tend to work best in multi-dog homes, so to set me up for success now and in the future, she’d prefer I go to a home with a male dog, a submissive female, or no other dogs. I also live with a cat and think he’s fun, but as I grow, I might develop a natural prey drive depending on what I inherit from my mom. If my new family plans to introduce cats later in my life, they should keep that in mind to make sure it’s the right fit! Most of all, I’m a total “velcro dog”—I love being close to my people and making them happy. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will always be by your side, I might just be your perfect match! ❤️
