Mission StatemetMalinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue, Inc. (MAD) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which is dedicated to rescuing Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds who have found themselves without a home (surrendered, discarded, abused, neglected or impounded). MAD does not have a physical location and is operated by compassionate, like-minded professionals who volunteer their time and resources to help save and care for the Malinois and Dutch Shepherds. All animals that are accepted by MAD are spayed or neutered, given medical attention and rehabilitation, as needed, and placed with foster homes until their health and evaluations are completed and they are ready to be placed in their loving permanent homes.

Meet Moddy located in ID

2-yr old spayed female located in Northern California.Moddy was a stray dog who was scooped up by a good Samaritan on the streets in Fresno. He took her home and she stayed with him for a couple days. She was great with his kids. Unfortunately he could not keep her and he had to bring her to the shelter. Moddy is extremely friendly towards people and other dogs. She will need to learn a lot of dog manners, but she is eager to learn especially when offered treats. She had the "sit" command down within minutes! She is a shelter volunteer favorite. She is calm and gentle and when put back in her kennel goes in the back of it to lay down on her bed. No barking, no whining
