This special gentleman, here, is Jackson.Jackson and several of his sweet siblings came to us after the heartbreaking loss of their owner. Understandably, they were all very shaken, scared, and unsure of their new surroundings. With time, patience, and lots of gentle care, theyâre slowly starting to discover how comforting and kind people can be.Jackson is part of a loving group that includes Stix, Babycakes, Lucy, Quinn, and Joannie. Each one of them is looking for a home filled with warmth, patience, and understanding. When spending time with Jackson or his siblings, it helps to move slowlyâbeing soft, quiet, and intentional in your interactions goes a long way in building trust and helping them feel safe. One thing that brings out their playful side? Other dogs! Jackson and his siblings really seem to perk up in the presence of canine companions. If you already have a friendly pup at home, weâd love to set up a meet and greet to see if theyâre a good match. Sometimes, it might take a few visits to truly connectâbut trust us, itâs a journey thatâs incredibly rewarding. If youâve got a big heart and a little extra patience, Jackson might just be the perfect addition to your family. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is SPONSORED
