Meet Maddie

This is Maddie, is a resident at Mikey & Me Foster Care for Happy Days Rescue. Maddie is an Austrian Shepherd mix and she has a stunning thick, red coat. She is a little timid when meeting new people but quickly comes out of her shell once she has established trust. Maddie weighs about 47 pounds and she appears to be full grown. Maddie loves playing with Molly, one of the two puppies we have onsite. They chase each other around the play yard and have learned to take breaks together when they need to. Maddie hasn’t reacted to any other dogs in our kennels, even to those that are loud and trying to get her attention.  Maddie walks nicely on leash, but she doesn’t always want to walk back toward the kennels. We coax her with words and positive energy, and she eventually walks back. She does better when she’s walking alongside another dog. Maddie’s has already had her vaccinations; her first vet appt. is scheduled for next week and she will get her vaccination boosters at that time. I will also find out if she’s been spayed at that appt. If you would like to meet Maddie, please submit an adoption application at www.happydaysdogandcatrescue.org   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.

Adoption Process
