Hello! My name is Willow and I am a little over a year old. I was an owner turn in after I was adopted by a wonderful family who took my sister and I in ( not from cnr). After being told we had to stay together it was quickly determined we had littermate syndrome. However, I was not the problem. My sister was bullying me and my owner decided to give the rescue the me while they worked with my sister. Now, a little about me! I LOVE kids and other dogs (preferably younger so we can play and can help each other get our energy out) But I am afraid of any dogs larger than me. So, I neex a home with one or the other. Both would be a bonus! My foster parents have an 18 month old daughter and im so gentle with her and a younger cocker too and we play all day long. I am completely house broken with only a couple accidents in the last couple months. I do not chew things I shouldn’t but I love my toys and tennis balls. If you can play fetch with me sometimes id love that! I am an all around love bug with no mean bone in my body. Im not sure I even know how to be mean if i had to. I really dislike car rides and have shown my fosters I am an escape artist in the back yard and can fit inbetween the gate post. I don’t go far and come right back when called though. Please be patient with processing applications as it is the holidays and vets will be closed making the process take a little longer. Remember dogs are not presents for your family. You will not be surpring them bringing home a dog. We home visits, vet checks etc and want to reassure yes it is the holiday but we will be making sure Willow will be going to the VERY BEST forever home like all of our dogs. This is a 10-15 year commitment. A lot of people see a cute photo of a dog and want it, however we are not about that. Please consider the commitment a dog is and not apply based on looks. Be sure you understand the specific dogs needs to succeed in life and are able to provide that.
Adoption Process
The first step in adopting one of our rescue dogs is to fill out our online application. Once we receive the application, we will do a vet reference check. Once that is approved, we will contact the potential applicant to set up a home visit. Once the home visit is completed, we set up a meet and greet. If we feel the potential adopter is the best fit for the dog, and vice versa, the adoption will take place.
