Meet Tiny Tim

Age 1-2 years  Breed: Pit bull mix Color: black  Weight 40 lbs.  Sex: Male Tiny Tim is 1-2 years old. He was left on a chain with an igloo-style dog house during the coldest days of the year. He was malnourished and underweight. A local animal welfare group found him in his yard and offered money to the owner if they would surrender Tiny Tim. That welfare group saved him from staying outside that night, which went into sub-zero temperatures. He was featured on the local news station and was picked up by Shelter to Home.  Tiny Tim has flourished in his foster home; he gets along with other dogs and adult humans, but we are unsure how he would be with children or cats. Tiny Tim is crate trained, which works best when he is home alone, so that he doesn't chew on anything that could be harmful to him. He exhibits puppy behavior, so he likes to chew on toys and bones, but will occasionally chew on shoes if not redirected. He is potty trained and is neutered and up to date on his shots. He would do best in a home that is familiar and patient with puppy behavior. His foster mom still goes outside to supervise him because one time he tried to climb the fence when he saw a cat in the neighbor's yard.  **All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**

Adoption Process
$100 for cats, dogs vary but usually averaging $200; we have an adoption process and a contract; all animals are spayed or neutered and brought current on veterinary needs before adoption
