Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue with a basic mission: giving animals that are in danger of euthanasia a second chance by placing them in foster homes while recruiting adoptive families on their behalf. The animals may be in over crowded or poorly funded county shelters and pounds in big cities or rural areas.

Meet Sadie

Meet Sadie the one-and-a-half-year-old Aussie doodle!  Sadie is very sweet and wants badly to learn to be part of a family. Because she has spent much of her life in a kennel she is experiencing new things every day. Some are so exciting and some are scary but she's becoming more brave every day!  Sadie is smart and likes other dogs but she also is happy to be the only dog soaking up the attention. She takes time to warm up to people but will be cuddling by the end of the night. We don't have cats or small children so I'm not sure on that topic.  Sadie is working on potty training and will require a routine to keri making gains. She has learned "come touch" with 70% return rate. Working slowly on other commands.  She truly seems like the type of dog that will mold to her people as she really wants to please. Last night she watched tv with me. Like, watched tv. I've never had a dog that would do that.  If you'd like to meet Sadie she'd like to meet you, too!  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.

Adoption Process
Approved adoption application required. Vet check of current and past animals required. Home assessment / home visit with the entire family, including all current pets required. Adoption fee required; however, the fee varies based on the age and health of the animal. Special rates apply for seniors adopting seniors.
