Meet ASPEN

Aspen is the husky of your dreams! While super healthy and athletic, he is also a kind, gentle boy who loves human touch and loves giving kisses and rubbing up against you for hugs and pets.Aspen is a super smart boy who knows how to sit, shake (with both paws) and lie down upon command. He waits politely for treats and is extremely eager to learn new tricks and commands.Aspen is a Siberian Husky, which means you will absolutely need to have experience with the breed, a fenced-in yard and no cats to adopt this great boy. Having a yard does not take place of his need for exercise, though, so we are looking for his adopter to have an intentionally physical lifestyle of continuous walking or running or hiking. Aspen plays well with other dogs, especially his new best friend here at the shelter, Raven. Come meet both of them today and give this sweet gentleman a new home.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $100
