Noah Project

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill animal shelter. We are dedicated to providing the compassionate well-being of abused, unwanted, and surrendered pets. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care, and are treated with love and respect as they await to be matched into loving forever homes! Our goal is to educate the community on animal welfare, collaborate with other shelters, and ultimately strive for a world where every companion animal has a loving home.

Meet Rustin

Rustin’s story is one that pulls at the heartstrings, and those who’ve met him know exactly why. He first joined us here at Noah Project in 2022, and from the moment he walked in, he brought with him a warmth that spread to everyone he encountered. Rustin is not just a dog — he’s a beacon of love and comfort, and for anyone who’s felt his soft, strong hugs, you know he has a gift for making people feel seen and loved. He’s so much more than a shelter dog; he’s a registered therapy dog who, time and time again, has lifted the spirits of those who needed it most. Rustin did have a brief time away from us in a loving home, where he was as cherished as he deserves. Sadly, due to no fault of his own or his previous owner, he came back to us. Watching him return was a bittersweet moment; we were heartbroken for him, yet at the same time, we were overjoyed to have him with us once more. He adjusted back to life at Noah Project as if he’d never left, stepping back into his role as our resident teddy bear and heart-stealer. His strong, loving hugs and soulful eyes have comforted so many of us — but deep down, we know he’s still waiting for his forever person, someone he can truly call his own.Rustin’s only wish is for a home where he can be the one and only. He’s a dog who’s happiest with his person, and while he’s had to wait a while for that perfect match, he’s never lost his gentle spirit or his boundless love. His big hugs may knock you over, but they’re always followed by a quiet look that says, *I’m here for you.*It’s hard not to feel the tug at your heart when you see Rustin watching families come and go, still waiting for someone who can give him the life he deserves. Rustin has so much love to give and only asks for someone willing to let him in and be his world. He’s more than ready to be someone’s steadfast companion, to offer his sweet therapy and comforting presence to a family of his very own.If you’re looking for a friend who will fill your home with joy, warmth, and unconditional love, Rustin is waiting. He’s been waiting for quite some time, but he’s never given up hope. Rustin deserves a home that will cherish every ounce of his big, beautiful heart. Could that home be yours? You may find me on our website under "ADOPT
