Meet Boss
Boss is the ultimate senior gentleman, a 12-year-old beefcake with a heart of gold and a soulful gaze that’ll make you feel like the most important person in the world. Don’t let his age fool you—Boss still has a playful spark, whether it’s a leisurely stroll in the park, a game of gentle tug-of-war, or simply basking in the sun while you scratch his favorite spot behind his ears. This sweet boy thrives on affection and is happiest when he’s by your side, soaking up all the love you can give. Boss is the definition of loyal—he’ll follow you from room to room, always ready to offer a warm nuzzle or a contented sigh as he curls up at your feet. His gentle demeanor makes him a perfect match for a calm household where he can be the star of the show. While he’s polite with other dogs, Boss prefers to be the main focus of your attention, making him an ideal companion for someone looking for a devoted one-on-one buddy. His ideal day? A short morning walk, a hearty breakfast, and plenty of quality time with his favorite human—whether that’s binge-watching your favorite show or reading a book with Boss snoozing nearby. Why Boss?Adopting a senior dog like Boss means opening your home to a companion who’s already mastered the art of love. He’s past the puppy shenanigans and ready to offer unwavering devotion, gratitude, and the kind of companionship that only a seasoned soul can provide. If you’re looking for a gentle giant to share quiet evenings, heartfelt moments, and unconditional love, Boss is your guy. Adoption Process
Marshmallow Animal Shelter wants to make certain that every animal adopted goes to a loving home where it will be well cared. Because of this, our application asks a number of detailed questions, which are necessary for our screening process. Our application will ask you to what lengths you are willing to go, in order to accommodate the animal's needs and training. You must be able to show commitment of time, finances, energy and compassion to the animal.
Once your application is approved, we require that you sign a contract guaranteeing non-transferal/sale of animal, its proper care, and spay/neuter surgery if not already done.
