Meet Maverick Foster needed!

Meet Maverick, a striking cropped, docked red Doberman with a heart as bold as his name. Found wandering as a stray surviving on his own, Maverick is now safe and on the search for his forever home. This handsome boy is set to be neutered soon, and once his vet appointment is complete, he will be ready for the next chapter in his life. We do not know his history or past life but we do know no one claimed him after he was found sadly. Maverick's personality is unique. While friendly with people, he is selective about his canine companions, so he might be happiest as the only dog in his new home. This will allow him to soak up all the love and attention he craves. He knows sit and a few other basic commands so we know someone did work with him. Currently, Maverick is staying at a boarding facility, Ruffin Inn, while he awaits his vet appointment. However, we are eager to find him a foster or, even better, a forever home where he can truly thrive. If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, and stunning companion, Maverick could be the perfect addition to your family.  Are you ready to give Maverick the loving home he deserves? Reach out to us today to learn more about this incredible dog and how you can make him a part of your life.

Adoption Process
Applicants must submit an adoption application, followed by background and reference checks, and finally a home visit to be completed by a qualified volunteer. A home visit report is submitted to the Board of Directors for review. If approved, the applicant is allowed to meet available dogs in our care. If the applicant decides to adopt, a detailed contract must be executed together with an adoption donation ranging from $250 to $500.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
