Meet Barbara
Meet Barbara aka BeBe. She knows that name and responds well to BeBe. She is a short, stocky, gal who is in the process of getting her girlish figure back. She should be about 55 lbs. She is house trained, can do kennel or not-totally up to her person. Doesn't get on the furniture at her owner's home. She has dog beds that she is quite content with. She loves to cuddle, but doesn't like to be over cuddled. Small children make her nervous and her momma instincts come out. She wants to corral them and be right on top of everything. Children who are in their toddler stages move too fast and always want to hang on her. She would prefer people to respect her bubble. She has not been aggressive with the children but will air snap to let them know enough is enough so we would like to see her in a home with older, 16 and up, kids or no kids. She is loyal, food motivated, trains easy and loves to do things to please her owner. She is anxious around other dogs as she really doesn't know what to do with them, she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She is learning to ignore dogs on walks, and to be less excited about them. Our trainer would love to help whoever takes her to continue her progress and let her shine. Are you up for a good girl who is ready to learn, follow and be your sunshine? If you have adopted before just shoot us an email at [email protected] If you are new to adopting or fostering you can apply right from her page.
