Across America Boxer Rescue

Our Rescue is an all volunteer effort to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home unwanted and abandoned Boxer dogs. When Boxers are in need, Across America Boxer Rescue's dedicated volunteers respond. Our mission includes hands-on rescue, as well as education. Our rescue is dedicated in helping as many Boxers that have had a very "ruff" start for whatever reason. All Boxers that come into our rescue will be examined by our vet, brought up to date on vaccines, heart worm tested, (placed on heart worm preventive medication) and fecal tested, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We will evaluate each Boxer's personality and temperament, so they can be placed in the best home suited for them.

Meet Mercy

Beautiful Mercy...we love you already!  Her owner made the very difficult decision to surrender her due to another female dog in the home not wanting to share her space with her. To keep Mercy safe, they brought her to rescue. She has gotten all caught up on her needed vetting and has been spayed and microchipped. Mercy made her way to her temporary foster home in Indiana and willl stay there for a couple of weeks until her Wisconsin foster family is ready for her to join them. In the meantime we will get to know her a little bit and will post some new pictures, too.

Adoption Process
Adoption application, 3 personal reference checks, vet reference check, home visit, adoption contract, spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, medical care, hw preventive, hw treatment, and any other medical needs.
