Meet Thelma & Louise
Thelma and Louise are two special girls who were presumably left to fend for themselves. They were very scared and hesitant to trust the people trying to help them, but they eventually found their way to us. After an adjustment period of learning we're not so bad, they are ready for their new home! Both of these girls are sweet and loving, but still a little leery- they will need someone experienced in the intelligent and powerful GSD breed, as well as understanding of rescue animals, their body language, and the need for reassurance. Due to their background and demeanors, we suggest a home with no other animals or children so they can have the focus they deserve! Thelma & Louise are bonded and we want them to stay together- their approved adopter will get to take them both for only one adoption fee of $325! Each will require a $50 refundable spay deposit, and adoption will include vouchers for surgery at no cost to you at Grantsburg Animal Hospital or Wild River Vet Clinic. If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. If you have a dog currently, you should bring him/her along to meet the new dog so we can see how everyone interacts. Please visit our website for additional information. The online application can be found at :https://hsburnettcty.org/adoption-application/
