Bryce is a 6 month old labradoodle sure to camp out in the heart of anyone he meets. Bryce loves to play tug of war (he shows great sportsmanship when he lets the smaller dog win) and swim in a cool lake in the summer. Instead of capturing the flag, he prefers to capture the tennis ball during a game of fetch. At the end of the day, Bryce is content to settle at the feet of his human around the campfire as he dozes off under the stars. Bryce is happy to share his lodging with other dogs and cats. He has not yet met young kids, but his counselor (foster) thinks he would do just fine with kids of any age. Bryce is a sweet and playful pup looking to win a loving home, filled with patience as he continues his leash and manners training, and ready to bring him on adventures whether around the neighborhood or off the beaten trail. If you would like to meet Bryce apply at https://rescuecrew.org/adopt-animal-in-need/#adoptionapplication Completion of an Adoption Application via our website (www.RescueCrew.org) is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in the adoption process. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. **FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT NEEDED 04/05/2023** If you’re interested in fostering or fostering to adopt, please complete our foster application ONLY . We are not accepting adoption applications for this pup at this time. https://rescuecrew.org/foster-program
Adoption Process
Adoption applications must be completed, which include information regarding references and vet clinic information, DL #, names, etc. Reference checks are conducted and when necessary vetting information verified. Discussion about the animal interested in to best assure appropriate and proper placement is made, and educational information regarding how to manage a multi-dog/animal household, slow and proper introductions and the importance of a shut-down period to help the animal acclimate to new surroundings. A "meet and greet" with the animal is required and whenever possible all residents of the household should be present. Home checks may, but not always, be necessary. After adoption applications is approved a contract is required, where we also stipulate that if for any reason the adopter determines they no longer want or can care for the animal we require it be returned to us, with the exception of documented bite history or potentially dangerous or dangerous dog designations. Adoption fees vary, but are comparable to or less than other local rescues and typically are $300 or less for a canine and $150 for a feline.
