Meet Minneopa

Minneopa is all things cute and puppy! She is very sweet and gentle, currently displaying a calmer and more serious demeanor than some puppies I've met. She enjoys following people around and taking lots of snuggly naps. She is just starting to get curious about our cat, mostly barking and running away when they meet. As she gets more comfortable, she is playing more, with a bit of puppy nibbling here and there. She loves to leap from the couch to the floor to initiate play! She does well with our overly enthusiastic dog of a similar size, and she does well in her crate. While we're still working on potty training, she is doing great when we are consistent with her. Minneopa is from a local reservation. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. *Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.* If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
