Millie is a 3.5-year-old Cavapoo with a soft, freshly trimmed white coat and an affectionate personality. Weighing 21 pounds, she is a small companion dog who thrives on human interaction and enjoys being a consistent presence in her person’s life. Millie is fully house-trained, though she initially had a couple of accidents due to nervousness, and she is also crate-trained, though she now prefers to sit on top of her crate rather than inside it when left alone. She is friendly but reserved around other dogs, showing shyness rather than aggression, and her compatibility with cats and young children remains unknown.Millie’s past plays a role in shaping her gentle and cautious demeanor, however with patience and love, she has blossomed into a happy, affectionate companion who adores snuggling, giving kisses, and being by her person’s side. She does not bark excessively, making her an ideal pet for a home with shared walls, and while she doesn’t show interest in toys or fetch, she enjoys watching DOGTV and gets excited by the sights and sounds on the screen!A true homebody, Millie prefers to stay indoors where she feels safe and comfortable, though she does take care of her potty business outside before hurrying back in. She doesn’t require much exercise and would do well with just a couple of short walks a day. Millie would thrive in a home where she can be a loving companion with someone who understands her gentle nature and her preference for cozy indoor life. Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
