Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate. Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.   Other:  Intact Male, Vaccinations current, Microchip  Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:  8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption. 12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery.  ** Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations. **Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice.   Stratus has so much love to give, with some patience to find it!   Foster Home Feedback  3/25/2025 Foster Feedback: Stratus is the sensitive, people-pleasing pup of the duo. He adores his humans and wants to be by their side at all times. Like a true American Eskimo, he has picked his person and follows them everywhere. While he still enjoys playing and romping around with his brother, his favorite thing in the world is just being near his people. At the end of the day, cuddles and companionship are what matter most to him. Stratus is such a loving, loyal little guy who will make his future family so happy. Potty training is coming along, and with his eagerness to please, he’s sure to get the hang of it soon! Stratus is such a wonderful puppy and will bring so much joy to his future family. 3/12/2025 Foster Feedback: Stratus is a spunky pup loves to play, pounce, and push buttons (in the most adorable way possible). True to his American Eskimo roots, Stratus can be quite the chatterbox — he's got lots of important puppy thoughts to share & might not be the best for a shared wall setting. He's doing great with his toddler buddy, feline friends (whom he likes to try to get to play), and big dog housemate. Stratus is still mastering potty training, and car rides aren’t his favorite yet — but with patience, he's sure to get the hang of it. Since stratus has an unknown past, he'll need a little extra kindness and patience as they discover all the fun and exciting parts of being a dog. If you're looking for a fun-loving fluff who will keep you entertained, Stratus is ready to steal your heart!
