Meet Ted
Meet Ted!Ted is an adorable 3-month-old Shepherd mix, and already at 30 pounds, he’s on track to grow into a big, lovable companion that anyone would ask for!Ted is a playful, sweet, and intelligent puppy who’s still learning the ropes of potty training but improving every day with consistency and positive reinforcement. He’s crate-trained and feels comfortable eating and resting in his crate. At night, Ted only whines once to let you know he needs a potty break—what a thoughtful boy!Ted is great with other dogs and thrives on their companionship. He loves playing and cuddling with his foster puppy sibling and respects the corrections of the resident dog. When it comes to cats, Ted is curious and may bark or follow them around, but he has shown no aggression. Ted is also good with kids but would do best with supervision due to his size and puppy energy—he’s not quite aware of how big he is and might accidentally bump into smaller children. This big-hearted pup has some adorable quirks that will make you smile. With his large, clumsy paws, you can hear him coming across the room! He loves to “talk” and engage in conversation with his humans, showing off his vocal, expressive personality. Ted is a fast learner and enjoys being active, making him a great match for a home that can keep up with his energy level. While Ted doesn’t require a fenced yard, he would benefit from an active household where he gets plenty of exercise, playtime, and stimulation. He loves running around outside, wrestling with other dogs, and playing with toys indoors. Ted doesn’t like being alone and would do best with a human or canine companion that he can see throughout the day to help him continue to build his confidence.Though he’s a chatty boy who may not be ideal for shared walls, Ted’s loving and affectionate personality more than makes up for it. He adjusted quickly to his foster home after an initial period of nervousness, gaining confidence with the help of his foster family and dog siblings. He even loves to give his humans hugs and kisses—earning him the nickname “Teddy bear.”If you’re looking for a fun-loving, snuggly, and energetic addition to your family, Ted might just be the perfect match for you!https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550.
