Meet Princess D5994

Meet Princess,      Sweet, gentle, and full of potential, she is a loving soul looking for a calm, understanding home where she can truly flourish. After spending most of her life as a breeder (aka #03, which will forever be tattooed inside her ear), she is still learning what it means to be a pet. However, her tail is constantly wagging, her heart is pure, and her loyalty is unwavering.        Princess is not house trained, does not know how to handle stairs, and is scared of being on the leash...things that were never taught to her before coming into rescue. But, day by day, we are making small progress. Her quiet nature and sweet demeanor make for a wonderful companion for someone willing to give her the time and patience to learn all of this.       While Princess does live with other dogs and cats (she does great with both) she can at times get a little overwhelmed in which she will retreat to her "safe space" (her dog bed). She would do best in a peaceful household, ideally with someone who can build a close, trusting bond with her. In return, she will reward you with endless affection and gratitude as she discovers the joys of a loving home.      If you are looking for a gentle, super low-key companion to grow with then Princess might just be the perfect match for you!

Adoption Process
Our adoption process includes an adoption application. After reviewing your application and contacting the vet and personal references, a meeting is scheduled between the potential adopter and the pet, in the foster's home or a neutral animal friendly place. If there are any resident animals within the home, it is required that they meet at this time. After the meeting, a home visit by one our representatives is REQUIRED prior to finalizing any adoption and we must meet all members of the household where the pet will be living sometime during the adoption process. 6 month post-adoption check in is completed.
