Meet Claudette
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Meet Claudette, the perfect blend of easygoing charm and fun-loving spirit! This sweet, happy girl has a playful personality that will melt your heart. She adores her stuffed animals (“stuffies”) and her cozy blanket, and her food motivation makes her eager to please—though she might need a little supervision to keep her from snacking on her foster sibling’s meals! Claudette is well-mannered and has a knack for basic commands like “sit,” “come,” and “no.” She’s housebroken and will patiently wait by the door when it’s time for a potty break. While she’s a pro at keeping quiet, a gentle “shhht” is all it takes if she does decide to bark. Claudette loves bath time and nail trims, making her an easy dog to care for, but she does have a bit of a “Houdini” streak, so an open door might tempt her for a quick escape. This lovable girl walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys her strolls around the neighborhood. She’s also a fantastic travel companion, happily snuggled up with her blanket as your co-pilot. Claudette gets along well with dogs of all sizes, thrives in a bustling household, and greets every visitor with her signature “smile” and a wagging tail. Whether you’re a family with kids, other dogs, or just looking for a loyal companion, Claudette is ready to fill your home with love and joy. Whoever adopts this darling girl will be incredibly lucky—Claudette truly is a gem!Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
Adoption Process
Adoption applications must be completed, which include information regarding references and vet clinic information, DL #, names, etc. Reference checks are conducted and when necessary vetting information verified. Discussion about the animal interested in to best assure appropriate and proper placement is made, and educational information regarding how to manage a multi-dog/animal household, slow and proper introductions and the importance of a shut-down period to help the animal acclimate to new surroundings. A "meet and greet" with the animal is required and whenever possible all residents of the household should be present. Home checks may, but not always, be necessary. After adoption applications is approved a contract is required, where we also stipulate that if for any reason the adopter determines they no longer want or can care for the animal we require it be returned to us, with the exception of documented bite history or potentially dangerous or dangerous dog designations. Adoption fees vary, but are comparable to or less than other local rescues and typically are $300 or less for a canine and $150 for a feline.
