Whiskey’s Highlights: Fully Vetted & Healthy: Whiskey is up to date on all her shots and is in great health. Skilled & Obedient: She has completed formal, high-level obedience training and spent time at a board-and-stay facility. Whiskey knows her commands and is a very well-mannered girl, but we recommend that her new family take her to classes to help her adjust to new cues and reinforce her training in a fresh environment. Good with Other Pets: Whether it's your dog, cat, or other animals, Whiskey is friendly and enjoys being around her fellow creatures. Well-Behaved in the Home: She's calm, quiet, and well-mannered in the house. Whiskey knows how to relax and will be a wonderful addition to a household looking for a loving companion. Owner Surrender: Whiskey is an owner surrender. Her previous owner loved her dearly but, after undergoing major surgery, could no longer care for her. Adoption Process
Applicants must submit an adoption application, followed by background and reference checks, and finally a home visit to be completed by a qualified volunteer. A home visit report is submitted to the Board of Directors for review. If approved, the applicant is allowed to meet available dogs in our care. If the applicant decides to adopt, a detailed contract must be executed together with an adoption donation ranging from $250 to $500.
