Meet Mama Zelma

Meet Mama Zelma! Her journey is a testament to her strength and resilience, as she made her way to us from Missouri with her six precious puppies, all too old to be nursing but they still were. As soon as they arrived, Zelma was given the opportunity to thrive in a foster home all to herself, while her puppies began their own journey to find a home of their own. Zelma has shown herself to be potty trained and always lets you know when she needs to venture outside. She currently lives with 2 cats and doesn't pay much attention to either and she plays well with the resident dogs. Furthermore, she's crate trained, well-behaved, and respectful of her belongings, never chewing on blankets or toys. She also gets frequent visits from kids ages 5 & 3 and all three do well together. Zelmas heart longs for someone to share in her joy of outdoor play but she's equally content to curl up on the couch for tender belly rubs. With her soft, melodious howl and prompt response to gentle guidance, Zelma has captured the hearts of her foster family and is now ready to shower her love upon her forever family.
