Meet Brandy

Brandy is an 8-month-old Pitbull with the cutest eyes you’ll be sure to fall in love with! At 40 pounds, she’s well on her way to being a medium-sized dog (up to 60 pounds) when fully grown. Brandy is a cheerful, energetic pup who’s both house-trained and crate-trained, making her a great addition to any home. She does wonderfully with other dogs and is playful when meeting canine friends outside the home. Brandy also gets along fabulously with cats—her two kitten housemates even cuddle up with her for naps!Brandy is fantastic with kids and loves all people. She’s a quick learner, highly food-motivated, and ready to soak up new commands or tricks. Her favorite activities include chasing tennis balls, savoring chicken treats and milk bones, and playtime with her humans. She’ll also make you smile with her funny habit of carrying her leash around the yard.Though Brandy has a friendly, outgoing personality, she can sometimes be timid around men. With patience and a few treats, she warms up quickly and shows her sweet nature. She adjusted well to her foster home, immediately befriending the resident dogs and bringing lots of puppy energy into the mix.Brandy thrives in an active home where she can burn off her youthful energy. While she doesn’t need a fenced yard, she enjoys spending time outside and prefers to have human or canine companionship. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
