Meet Roy

We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.  This very handsome boy is Roy  He came from a very difficult situation but is a very sweet boy  He does very well with all the dogs in his foster home and is learning all the new rules  He loves people once he knows you will be kind to him  He requires a secure fence as he is good at escaping   He will be a great family dog once he gets adjusted  Come and meet him!His name is Roy  He is about 18 months old and weighs about 13 pounds  His adoption fee is $600 plus tax of $27 for a total of $627     My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter, dental if needed and microchipping.

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
