Meet Champ

Meet Champ! At first, he was a bit cautious, so we took things at his pace — and wow, has he blossomed. Once he decided he was safe and comfortable, his sweet personality really started to shine. Look at this sweet video of Champ taking in some love. Over the weekend, Champ met the resident dogs, cats, and even little kids, and he handled it all like an absolute gem. He’s been consistently pottying outside (with just one minor accident), and he’s wonderfully respectful of the dominant dog's boundaries — no drama there! With the kids, he’s gentle and takes treats oh-so-carefully (though as a strong power breed, he’s still supervised around them). Champ shows polite curiosity toward the cats, content with a quick sniff before moving on. He was an angel during his bath and even puts himself to bed in his kennel when he’s ready for a rest. While he still gets a little jumpy and wants to use his mouth to "talk" when he's excited, he’s already making great strides in learning better manners. This boy is a fast learner with a heart of gold, and he’s well on his way to becoming the perfect companion! Champ is from a local shelter.
