Meet Gremelda *Arriving 12/14*

Gremelda is a spunky, three-legged lady who doesn’t let anything slow her down. Found as a stray and brought to the shelter after an injury likely caused by a car, she’s since healed beautifully and is ready for her next adventure. Whether it’s bounding up onto the ottoman or roughhousing with younger pups, Gremelda proves daily that missing a leg doesn’t mean missing out on fun. In her Texas foster home, she’s an easygoing companion. She’s good with potty pads, does her business outside when given the chance, and sleeps calmly in her crate at night. While not overly clingy, she’s happy to snuggle when you’re in the mood and doesn’t mind relaxing on her own when needed. Gremelda gets along well with other dogs and loves car rides—she’s just as happy in a doggy car seat as she is in a crate. And though she hasn’t had much formal training, she’s shown she’s trainable and eager to learn. She’s also a bit of a chatterbox when her foster siblings bark at passersby, adding her own opinion to the mix. Sassy, goofy, and full of loveable charm, Gremelda is looking for a home where she can continue to shine. She’s a low-maintenance sweetheart with a big personality and plenty of love to share. Gremelda is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 12/14/2024 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 5pm and 9pm. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.  Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
