Meet Bella

Seeking a Temporary Caretaker for Bella, a Sweet 12-Year-Old Wheaten Terrier Bella, a lovely 12-year-old Wheaten Terrier, needs a caring temporary home while her owner travels to Amsterdam. This will be an ongoing arrangement as her owner travels back and forth. About Bella: A well-trained and housebroken girl who loves people. Excellent house manners! A wonderful companion, perfect for someone who enjoys daily walks and car rides. Best suited to a home with no other pets, as she does not get along with other dogs. Has a high prey drive, so she needs to be leashed during walks or have access to a securely fenced yard. What’s Provided: All her food and vet care will be covered. A small stipend will be offered to the caretaker. Additional Opportunity: If you find that Bella steals your heart and you’d like to give her a permanent home, adoption might be an option in the future! This arrangement is ideal for a retired person or someone who doesn’t want the full-time commitment of owning a dog but would enjoy the companionship Bella brings. If you can open your heart and home to Bella, please reach out to us! This sweet girl will repay your kindness with love and loyalty. Currently she is in a boarding facility through February and we would like to see her in a home, like she has been use to all her years. Please reach out to us if you can help Bella.

Adoption Process
Applicants must submit an adoption application, followed by background and reference checks, and finally a home visit to be completed by a qualified volunteer. A home visit report is submitted to the Board of Directors for review. If approved, the applicant is allowed to meet available dogs in our care. If the applicant decides to adopt, a detailed contract must be executed together with an adoption donation ranging from $250 to $500.
