Dolly Madison is from Texas. She was found roaming the streets along with a sibling, and brought into rescue by a Good Samaritan. Other than being a bit underweight when she was initially rescued, Dolly has always been in good health. She is a young Jack Russell Terrier/Lab mix bursting with love and playful energy. She’s friendly with humans of all ages and dogs of all sizes, making her a fantastic addition to any family. Dolly has not been cat tested, and would need to have a slow introduction to them in order to insure the safety of all pets involved. DollyMadison is still working on her potty training with her Texan foster family & is picking up a lot from her other foster dog companions. Dolly would benefit from a little extra guidance given by a current resident pup in the home, but she’s eager to please and already leash and crate trained. This affectionate and goofy girl loves water, fetch, toys, and, most of all, attention! She’s social and would thrive with a furry companion or as a solo pup, as long as her people still shower her with affection. Dolly Madison is intelligent, even-tempered, and endlessly playful. She’ll keep you smiling as she dances on her back feet chasing butterflies or playfully chases frogs and crickets. Dolly Madison is an easygoing, happy-go-lucky pup who pretty much only barks to alert you to visitors. She’s ready to bring joy, love, and laughter to her new home—could it be yours? If you answered yes, please fill out an adoption application today! She can't wait to meet you! Dolly Madison is from Texas.
