Meet Clyde
Clyde came in as a stray, along with what we assume is his sister, Bonnie. These dogs were either lost and wandering for a while, or underkept and not taken care of properly. Their nails are long, with Bonnie's being over an inch long and curled, and both seem to have mange and were very smelly. They have gotten baths and their vaccinations, and while Clyde was quite unsure about a bath, a few praises and treats and he did just fine! He is very food motivated, and will follow you anywhere as long as you give him a treat or a hug. (He loves to give hugs) Bonnie and Clyde are very bonded, so we would like for them to stay together. 2 for 1 adoption anyone?! They have no resource guarding with each other at all, and get a little sad when the other isn't around to hang out with. Considering whatever it is they have been through, these two amazing shepherds are resilient, tough and forgiving. They have had nothing but each other for what seems like a while, so let's keep them together! If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. If you have a dog currently, you should bring him/her along to meet the new dog so we can see how everyone interacts. Please visit our website for additional information. The online application can be found at :https://hsburnettcty.org/adoption-application/
